As most of you know, my work in silver is usually etched ....but I am trying something a little more modern and edgy with this new grouping by finishing off the silver bangles by heating them up as high as I can then quenching them in cold water . By doing this I end up with fine silver on the top layer of the metal and this gives the look of almost white silver ....next I file the silver with a # 2 file and scratch the metal .I love this look for summer ....I am mixing this with clear crystals as my accents.
